Selenite is a variety of Gypsum, a common mineral found in sedimentary rocks. It is formed through the evaporation of salt water from ancient seas. Its essence as salt resonates with our own salt water bodies in the most primal fashion.

Selenite is the ultimate cleansing and programming stone available. It is extremely useful with any healing treatment and especially is a great crystal for skin issues such as: wrinkles, age spots, acne, itchy dry skin, eczema, psoriasis, shingles and pressure sores. Using Selenite with the Biomat

Because the Biomat is filled with amethyst crystals (and tourmaline in the mini mat) it is important to keep the energy clear. Crystals can hold energy, and particularly if you have more than one person using the mat, it may be helpful to be consistently cleansing the crystals inbetween use.

The best stone to do this with is Selenite. It is a unique crystal that self-cleanses, and never needs to be cleared. It is excellent to use with other crystals. Simply place your piece of selenite on the Biomat for at least a minute, which will clear any redidual energies of the last person and the Biomat is once again a clean slate for the next healing.
